Silent Auction

      Donation Form

This March, the Carolina Recycling Association (CRA) holds its 16th Annual Conference and Trade Show, “Recycling: A Capital Idea” in Raleigh, NC. The CRA is one of the largest state-based recycling associations in the United States advancing waste reduction in North and South Carolina. Of over 35 state-based recycling organizations, the CRA holds the largest and most prestigious recycling conference with approximately 450 attendees from 25+ states.

CRA is seeking donated items for the Annual Silent Auction that will be located prominently in the Exhibit Hall at the Hilton North Raleigh. Some selected items may also be given as door or raffle prizes during the conference where appropriate. In addition to help CRA’s fundraising activities, the auction is an excellent opportunity to increase your organization’s profile at one of the most celebrated recycling conferences in the country. As an item donor, your organization will be acknowledged:

ó             On Exhibit Hall bid sheets for all conference attendees and exhibitors to see!

ó             In registration conference materials distributed to approximately 450 attendees

ó             In the spring Rword quarterly newsletter distributed to the CRA membership and the CRA’s website!

Please take a moment and consider donating an item to the CRA’s conference. Items can be of varying sizes and values. Some examples of items donated in previous auctions include: Carolina Panthers tickets, jackets, embroidered shirts, framed photos, jewelry, hats, goody bags, gift certificates (restaurants, hotels, spas, etc.), CD players, recycled content products, etc. Should you decide to make a donation, simply fill out the donation form and return via fax (828-251-6353) by March 10, 2006. If you have any further questions, or would like to donate after this date, please call 828-251-6622.

Auction proceeds are directly returned to CRA to support educational activities at the conference and insure the full scope of CRA’s waste reduction initiatives are implemented throughout the year. Furthermore, 10% of auction proceeds will go to the Red Cross for Katrina Relief. To learn more about the CRA Conference, mission, goals and activities visit www.cra-recycle.org.

Thank you for your consideration,

Holly Bullman
