America Recycles Day (ARD), November 15, is celebrating its 10th year and support is

bigger and better than ever. Millions of Americans are taking the pledge to recycle

and buy recycled products. State Coordinators around the world are joining forces this

year with the National Recycling Coalition (NRC) to support local communities to raise

awareness of the importance of recycling and buying recycled materials through education

and providing assistance with organizing recycling related events in their area.

The purpose of America Recycles Day is to continue to promote the social, environmental

and economic benefits of recycling and encourage more people to join the movement toward

creating a better natural environment.
