Koole Environmental of the Netherlands uses Sennebogen machines for dismantling project

Dutch demolition company Koole Environmental recently began using the 830 E-Series material handler/excavator along with a 683 telescopic crane with crawler track, both from Sennebogen, based in Germany.

The demolition company, which relies on several Sennebogen material handlers and cranes for various projects, is using the machines simultaneously to dismantle an industrial complex.

Internationally active in the areas of industrial dismantling, renaturing and disposal, Koole has added demolition services in the Netherlands and in Belgium in recent years, Sennebogen says.

Koole’s 830 E-series handler with crawler track and equipped with a 2.5 metric ton shear is designed for demolition, Sennebogen says. The excavator was delivered to Koole in early 2014 by Sennebogen’s Dutch sales and service partner Kuiken NV.

Equipped with a 164 kilowatt diesel engine and a special 14-meter-long boom kinematic, the machine works with a 2.5 metric ton demolition shear, allowing for such tasks as removing a steel pump system from a depth of up to 7 meters.

The Maxcab can be elevated up to 2.7 meters, providing an all-round view and additional peripheral camera system. Operator Bart Versteeg praises the high flexibility of the compact yet powerful 830 demolition excavator.

According to Sennebogen, in comparison to heavy demolition machines, the 830 can work safely and effectively even in narrow spaces. The state-of-the-art engine technology ensures low fuel consumption, and a hydraulic quick-changing device allows attachments to be quickly replaced in order to use the handling machine in different places, for example for loading.

Meanwhile, Koole’s Sennebogen 683 telescopic crane is used for dismantling heavy parts. With the 42-meter-long full-power boom and safe working load of up to 80 metric tons, it can move and place heavy parts, the manufacturer says. As a pick and carry crane, the machine is designed to be moved flexibly even under load thanks to its sturdy crawler track.
