A New York e-scrap repair expert is working to get the recycling and reuse communities talking.

Jessa Jones, owner of Rochester, N.Y.-based iPad Rehab, has compiled a list of independent repair businesses interested in partnering with recycling firms. The full list, which is being regularly updated with more independent repair professionals, can be viewed here.

Jones spoke about her company's successes and challenges in repairing devices during the "Profiting in Device Repair" session at E-Scrap 2015, held in Orlando, Fla. earlier this month.

Jones was also the subject of a recent profile blog post, "Meet the Micro Soldering Mom," in September on the site on tech repair hub iFixit. That article can be read here.

Her company, iPad Rehab, is a mail-in device repair business serving hundreds of individual shops as well as individual customers. Jones teaches courses in practical micro soldering and board-level troubleshooting.
