Brock Miller, CSDS, Shred Northwest, Gresham, Oregon, has been named Member of the Year by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), the Phoenix-based nonprofit trade association for the secure information destruction industry. The award was presented during a ceremony at the NAID’s Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, April 7-9, 2016.

In presenting the award, NAID President Don Adriaansen of Titan Mobile Shredding, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, said, “Without exception, the colleagues and NAID staff who recommended Brock for this honor, consider him the embodiment of positivity, productivity and integrity.”

Miller currently serves as chairman of the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) board of regents and is a member of NAID’s Complaint Resolution Council, which Adriaansen said is “without doubt one of the most important and difficult leadership bodies in the organization.”

In accepting the award, Miller said, “Within this association is real and authentic leadership … I am confident the future will be significantly impacted by the leadership in this very room.”
