BACE uses Verisae software to improve service, maintenance management
<![CDATA[Verisae Inc., an Accruent company and a provider of cloud-based solutions that connect facilities and assets to the maintenance and service network, has announced that BACE has implemented its vx Maintain software to organize the service and maintenance of its balers and compactors.

Charlotte, North Carolina-based BACE is a manufacturer of balers and compactors for the recycling and waste management industries. The company provides service and maintenance for its global clients and distributors of the heavy-duty balers and compactors it manufactures. As a result, BACE required a solution that could offer the best visibility to its assets, including location and service history, Verisae says.

As BACE manufactures and sells more balers and compactors, the company says it has seen an increase in the demand for quality service and maintenance to extend the already-impressive longevity of its products.

“BACE has a reputation for outstanding customer service and we needed the ability to scale for additional growth,” says Randy Sossamon, director of client services at BACE. “Vx Maintain allows us to manage our equipment and subcontractors to ensure our customers get service from the right people with the right expertise.”

From break-fix events to planned and preventive maintenance, BACE can now manage the work being performed; track the asset life cycle history including repairs, service contracts and warranties; as well as streamline the invoicing and payment process leveraging the cloud, field mobility and analytics.

Vx Maintain is an integrated system that is designed to track, streamline and improve maintenance efforts. With vx Maintain, companies can manage work orders, streamline the reconciliation process with service providers, improve compliance, and make better strategic decisions regarding the purchasing or retirement of assets, according to Verisae.

“Manufacturers like BACE understand that service offering is an important part of their business model and that advanced service life cycle management strategies can help differentiatethem from the competition,” says John Borgerding, CEO of Accruent. “Verisae is constantly staying ahead of the curve with a solution that offers the visibility and control that manufacturers need throughout the service life cycle.”

Verisae is a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that connect the maintenance and service network globally to manage asset and equipment maintenance, energy usage, mobile workforces, environmental sustainability and compliance for companies in the utilities, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and service management industries. By integrating business information and processes on a common data platform with analytics to drive insight and fact-based decisions, Verisae says it enables its customers to reduce operating costs, improve customer satisfaction and increase profits.
