Genesis Attachments unveils new rail breaker
<![CDATA[Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wisconsin, has released its new rail breaker, the GRB 30, featuring a four-blade design that is designed to reduce jaw wear and maintenance.

Featuring cutting blades on each side of the upper and lower jaws, the GRB 30 is designed to minimize parent material wear, extend jaw life and reduce the need for buildup, Genesis says. A deeper jaw design provides increased bearing life and reduces pivot stress by keeping the cutting area in the center of the blades, away from the throat.

Designed to operate with up to 5,000 pounds per square inch of force, the GRB’s large-bore cylinder is designed to produce more power for improved cutting. Built-in accumulators are designed to reduce hydraulic system shock loading and increase cylinder life, the manufacturer says.

Dual direct-drive motors with a builtin case drain system are designed to provide superior rotation control and holding power.

The Genesis rail breaker features a heavy-duty, main-shaft pivot group designed to withstand continuous rail cutting, and the 9.75-inch jaw opening and 13.25-inch jaw depth enable the processing of a variety of rail sizes, the company says.]]>
