Networking

All clubs and organizations advertise the advantages of membership.  In CRC, our advantage is our membership.  By joining CRC, you are opening the door to a wealth of   knowledge and experience.  Our members come from diverse backgrounds and experiences in the recycling community.  Learn unique ways of solving collection problems, how others got their campus population motivated and involved, and get help with other common recycling needs.  Sometimes more than just information, recyclers need a support group!

Sign up for the Carolina Recyclers List serve.  Post your questions to dozens of other Carolina Collegiate recyclers.  To subscribe send an email to: listproc@uncg.edu leave the subject line blank.

Workshops

CRC has an incredible reputation for pulling together great speakers and topics, fun, and food for conferences and workshops.  For the last few years, we have teamed up with the Carolina Recycling Association Annual Conference so our members can not only hear from other collegiate recyclers but also hear from expert recyclers in other sectors of the economy.

Tours

Seeing is believing!  It is always helpful to tour another campuses recycling program.  We have been to schools that were just starting and wanted suggestions and we have been to schools that recycle millions of pounds a year.  Touring other programs helps you gain new insight into your own.  If your looking for ways to start a program or improve one a tour is a great place to start.  If you would like to volunteer your campus for a tour please use the contact information below.
