<![CDATA[

The first International WEEE & Battery Recycling Virtual Conference, a platform for the electronics and battery recycling industry in the Middle East, will bring together industry professionals from across the globe to share their experience and insights as they discuss and debate key issues Dec. 9.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-based Media Fusion, the publisher of Waste & Recycling Middle East and Africa magazine has partnered with Recycling Today Media Group, the publisher of Recycling Today and Waste Today, to host the virtual conference.

“We are glad to cooperate with the team at Waste & Recycling Middle East and Africa on this virtual forum, which has been designed as a top-level knowledge sharing and networking event,” says Jim Keefe, publisher, Recycling Today Media Group. “The program has been developed to provide insights from key analysts as well as viewpoints from the field, including major industry players at the regional and international level.”

The WEEE & Battery Recycling Virtual Conference will offer presentations and roundtable sessions examining information technology asset disposition (ITAD) opportunities, extracting resources from obsolete electronics, WEEE recycling best practice, advances in e-scrap and battery recycling technology, battery market analysis, boosting circularity in the sector and more.

“We are happy to collaborate with the team at Recycling Today,” says Taher Patrawala, managing director at Media Fusion. “The virtual conference will feature influential speakers to discuss how the industry is responding to the growing environmental and sustainability pressures in a regional and global context. The event is a must-attend for all those related to e-scrap and battery recycling to commercially assess and address the most pressing issues and explore ways to collaborate in moving toward a more circular economy.”

The live interactive panel discussions facilitate the exchange of views and ideas not only with manufacturers, recyclers and technology providers but also with other important stakeholders, including government authorities, importers and end consumers, among others, according to the organizers. The platform also provides networking opportunities and the chance to meet new business partners and gain access to potential clients.
