(info coming soon)
We have received several reports of third-party vendors attempting to sell information they claim to be CRA attendee data. This is fraudulent and a misrepresentation of information they may provide to those who fall victim to this fraud. In their communications, scammers often imply some sort of relationship with CRA and offer to sell attendee lists and other data. List brokers and data marketers attempt to sell fake attendee lists to shows’ exhibitors. This is a common scam that has affected the trade shows industry for many years. CRA DOES NOT sell or rent attendee information or its member data.
Please be aware that these scammers frequently change company names and “From” email addresses. We understand and identify with the frustration and inconvenience that these spammers cause. Please DO NOT respond to these emails or share financial information with any entity that is not included among our authorized vendors. Report them as spam/phishing and delete them. CRA’s authorized vendors are listed here – CRA Authorized Vendors.
