Join us for a Bunker to Baler behind-the-scenes tour of the Person County Recycling Center and see an innovative Revolution Sorting System in action! Follow recyclables through the entire process—from our resident drop-off area to storage bunkers, through the sorting system and baler, and finally to our bale staging area and loading dock where materials begin their journey to end markets.

Along the way, see how a small community MRF is using innovative technology, hands-on operations, and a dedicated workforce to turn everyday recyclables into market-ready commodities.

Important Details:

• Parking: Parking is available on-site
• Fees: This event is free for CRA members, and $15 for non-members. If you join CRA within 30 days of the event, your $15 registration fee may be credited towards your membership price.
• PPE: Please make sure your attire is appropriate for traversing uneven surfaces, standing for long periods, and around machinery and equipment. Closed-toe shoes with a thick sole are required. Additional PPE will be provided by the location or you may bring your own hard hat, eye protection, ear protection, and high visibility safety vest.
