Join us for our next Lunch, Learn, & Network to see what recyclables really go through after they’re put in the bin. York County is hosting a special behind-the-scenes look at the their Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This unique event will give you an insider’s view of how recyclables are sorted, prepared, and shipped, plus, lunch!
What’s on the agenda?
- A presentation featuring live video footage of the MRF in action
- An overview of York County’s Recycle Right app and educational videos
- A mezzanine tour to see the equipment in motion
- Walk-by views of the scrap metal pile, glass pads, household hazardous materials storage, and electronics building
- Insights from industry partners
- Enjoy lunch & great networking
Important Details:
- Registration cap: 30 attendees
- Limit: One person per organization due to space limitations (York County reserves final approval of participants)
- Parking: Available on-site (use address above and enter gate off Langrum Branch Road. Landfill address in Maps will route you into landfill traffic)
- Fees: This event is free for CRA members, and $15 for non-members. If you join CRA within 30 days of the event, your $15 registration fee will be credited towards your membership price.
