ISRI opens registration for 2016 Operations Forum

The Institute of Scrap Recycling (ISRI), Washington, has announced registration is open for the ISRI 2016 Operations Forum Sept. 8-10, in St. Louis. 

The Operations Forum features sessions that assist recyclers in designing, maintaining and operating more efficient facilities. Individuals will have the opportunity to create personalized education itineraries from sessions that will be offered in the following tracks: 
 
  • Yard Operations – An analysis of issues and items related to scrap yard maintenance, including operations and management. 
  • Material Identification – Provisional background on the fundamentals of material sorting and the use of associated tools. 
  • Shredder Operations – A comprehensive exploration of various facets of shredder maintenance and operations. 
Registrants may attend any of the sessions. Participants who attend sessions in all available time segments will be given a General Operations Certificate, ISRI says.
