Amy Preble Scholarship Fund

The funding for this scholarship is provided by CRA along with amazing donors who were impacted by Amy’s life, love, and passion for sustainability.  If you would like to contribute to this fund, please click “donate” above or the orange donate button in the top right corner.

The Carolina Recycling Association, together with our Collegiate Recyclers Coalition, created the Amy Preble Scholarship Fund in January 2021 to honor the life and legacy of our longtime friend and colleague, Amy Preble. The scholarship fund will provide tuition scholarships to higher education students enrolled in North and South Carolina to help support their education. To apply, students must meet the following criteria: 1) Completed two semesters of college or higher, including graduate programs, community college, and technical college, 2) enrolled in either a North or South Carolina institution and 3) demonstrate a strong interest and dedication to recycling, waste reduction, reuse, sustainability, and other related areas in their application.  Click “Apply” above or click here to apply now!

CRA Membership Scholarships

As part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all aspects of our organization, governance, and membership, CRA will be providing membership scholarships to Minority Serving Institutions and Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises.  Please check back soon for more information and the application.
