Rob Alston, CEO of Livermore, California-based Access, has announced the records management and information destruction company’s five most recent acquisitions, bringing the company’s total number of acquisitions to 105 since its founding in 2004.

June 30, 2016, Access entered the Dubuque, Iowa, market with the purchase of InfoSafe Records Management from The Hodge Cos.

One month later, on Aug. 1, Archive Record Storage Inc. in Sarasota, Florida, was added to the local Access branch formed in March 2016.

The acquisition of the records management accounts of Crown Worldwide in San Jose, Costa Rica, on Sept. 30, expanded Access’ presence there. Access operates under the name Retrievex in the Latin American countries of Costa Rica and Panama.

The records management accounts of Seattle office furniture supplier Trefethen and Co. Inc. were acquired Oct. 4, while North Shore Records Management, Cleveland, was the company’s 105th purchase, with that transaction closing Oct. 17.

“Each of these additions to our company represents important components of our overall strategic plan for steady growth achieved both organically and through acquisition,” Alston says. “We are excited about the way we have positioned Access in the marketplace, including the very positive way we are perceived by records management company owners as the one they trust most to care for their clients moving forward. That means a lot to me personally. Our vision is to exceed the expectations of our clients, company and community every day. We hope that all of our new clients joining us from these acquisitions will recognize that commitment.”

Access now serves more than 60 major markets across the U.S., as well as markets in Brazil, Latin America and the Caribbean.
