Schönberg, Germany-based Sesotec GmbH, a manufacturer of machines and systems for contaminant detection and material sorting for the recycling, plastics and food industries, has moved into additional space near its headquarters to house its repairs department, spare parts storage, training rooms, technical support and service acceptance function.

The company says its business volume “is growing in all segments,” causing the requirement for additional space. “The [new] Sesotec Service Center is well prepared for future growth,” says the equipment firm.

“It is a particular advantage for our customers that, with the newly created service center with spare parts storage, we are now able to deliver faster and react more flexibly to inquiries from our global customers and locations,” says Markus Grimm, head of service at Sesotec.

Sesotec has twelve service locations globally, each of which can be supplied with spare parts from the new Schönberg facility in an optimal manner “within a very short time,” says the company.
