Recycling Networking Meeting

The Carolina Recycling Association (CRA) in cooperation with the NC SWANA Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee (NC SWANA) and the NC Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service (DEACS) will be co-hosting a recyclers networking meeting for recycling professionals on Monday at the NC SWANA Fall Conference in Wrightsville Beach. This networking time will follow the Convenience Center Recycling Workshop and is open to workshop attendees as well as others with responsibility and/or interest in recycling.

This meeting is an opportunity to meet and engage with other professionals working on recycling matters in North Carolina. At this networking meeting, CRA will facilitate a quick introduction of those hosting the event as well as the participants. DEACS will provide an introduction of their local government recycling team and will offer a brief overview of the resources and assistance that they provide. A short update on what is happening in recycling at the state level will be provided followed by an open discussion regarding recycling programs, issues, and opportunities (including hot topics, issues of local concern, best management practices, grant opportunities, etc.).
