AMUT Ecotech folded into fellow business unit

The corporate merging of the AMUT Ecotech business unit into AMUT Spa has been approved by the board of the Novara, Italy-based AMUT Group.
AMUT Ecotech included the operations of the former COMER €ngineering, an Italy-based manufacturer of waste processing plants acquired by AMUT in 2011.
The Ecotech business unit was described by AMUT as “a high-tech supplier of complete sorting and treatment plants for the waste management industry” with “production based on high technological contents concerning automation and process controls and focused on technical support services to customers, such as consulting, planning, assembling and final testing, commissioning and after-sale servicing.”
According to a statement issued by AMUT, “The main reasons [for the foldup] are the ability to respond to increasingly complex technical issues, internationalization of activities, increase of orders and related financial standards required.”
As of July 1, 2016, Amut Ecotech “has become the environmental division of Amut Spa, expanding the organizational set-up of the group leader.” Adds the firm, “The incorporation of Amut Ecotech is one of several strategic and organizational decisions that have been implemented in recent years by Amut Spa through acquisitions to [position AMUT Group] proposals for integrated solutions.”
