Legal Shred, headquartered in Gibsonton, Florida, has earned a position on the Inc. 5000 list, which recognizes the fastest-growing businesses in the U.S.

Ranked at 1,392, Legal Shred shares this honor with companies such as GoPro, Microsoft nad Under Armor.

“It’s a monumental accomplishment to make the Inc. 5000 list for 2017,” says Sean Fredricks, partner at Legal Shred. “Inc. is one of my favorite publications, and it is a privilege and honor to be side by side with other innovative entrepreneurs.”

Fredricks former company, Code Shred Inc., was on the list twice.

Legal Shred’s ability to deliver document destruction services to businesses and residents has led to tremendous growth in several territories, according to the company. Recently, it announced its third office location in Island Park, New York, bringing Legal Shred to new businesses and residents in the region.

Legal Shred serves Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The company has grown by 292 percent in a three-year span.

“We believe that our company is well-positioned to contribute to the growing SMB (small and midsize businesses) market across the nation,” Fredricks says. “We created Legal Shred to help protect residential and business customers from identity theft [and] financial fraud and to assist them in maintaining compliance as outlined by many of the document destruction laws. Our commitment to these values and our customers is what has helped us grow exponentially.”
