Kemp, Texas-based Larson Electronics LLC has released a new caged-style LED light for temporary lighting designed to be IP65 waterproof and dustproof rated. This LED work area light “can be daisy chained for flexible illumination options,” according to the company, and can serve as a replacement for 150-watt metal halide and pressure sodium units.

The Larson Electronics WAL-TJL-150W-LED-CPR-E2E-14.3-50.2C is a 60-watt temporary jobsite light that features 6,000-volt surge protection and a stainless steel cage and hook that has daisy-chaining capabilities. The company indicates it is ideal for worksite inspection activities and other temporary illumination applications.

This worksite lamp produces 7,200 lumens of illumination, offered in color temperatures ranging from 2,700 to 6500 Kelvin, and has a beam angle of 270 degrees. This temporary LED light is UL and cUL (Canadian UL) DLC4.0 listed and operates on standard power source connections. The LED is enclosed in a birdcage-style guard with a hook, both made of stainless steel and has a 10-foot input cord and one-foot output cord.

“The most notable feature in this LED work light is that it can be daisy chained together,” says Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “This allows operators configuration flexibility to achieve the best illumination patterns for their job site.”

Larson Electronics LLC offers a range of industry-grade lighting and power distribution products for the numerous industry sectors, including: manufacturing, construction, food processing, oil and gas, military, marine and automotive.
