Germany-based scrap material handler manufacturer Fuchs will showcase its MHL 370 F2 and Rigaku Analytical Devices (RAD), Wilmington Massachusetts, will exhibit the Rigaku KT-100S laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) handheld analyzer during ISRI2019 in Los Angeles, California. Fuchs will be on exhibit April 9-10 at booth No. A5 and Rigaku will be at booth No. 810.

“ISRI is an important show for Fuchs and one we are excited to attend again in 2019,” says Tim Gerbus, Sales Director North America, Fuchs. “It is a great opportunity to meet with new and existing customers and show them our latest innovations and tailor-made solutions. Rigaku will demonstrate its latest handheld analyzer for metal alloy analysis. The KT-100S handheld LIBS metal analyzer “provides an alternative for identification of a larger number of alloys” and “provides on-the-spot identification of the most difficult alloys,” including aluminum grades, the company says.

In addition, the KT-100S analyzer is designed to be the ideal analytical tool for use in scrap metal yards because of its low cost of ownership, MIL-STD 810G drop-test certification and IP-54 protection rating.

“We look forward to demonstrating the advanced capabilities of the KT-100S analyzer this week at ISRI,” says David Mercuro, LIBS sales and product director, Rigaku Analytical Devices. “Our handheld LIBS platform was specifically built for this audience and we are confident we have the solution to expand their sorting capabilities for an even greater profit.”
