Tradefox hosts Virtual Recycling Networking Conference in October

Tradefox hosts Virtual Recycling Networking Conference in October

Tradefox, headquartered in Amsterdam, will hold its third Virtual Networking Conference online Oct 12-14. The event is designed to connect verified professionals, including recyclables traders, buyers and logistics experts from across the globe for a three-day-long event.

Tradefox says this year’s event is more focused on networking than before. Attendees can expect numerous virtual networking opportunities, hosted online via Tradefox’s secure conference platform. They also will be able to attend nine keynote sessions, nine roundtable discussions and nine one-on-one sessions.

The Tradefox platform contains information designed to help attendees decide which other traders they should have one-to-one meetings with.

The platform outlines participating companies, where they’re based, what they’ve traded in the past, what their trading partners say about them and what the wider industry thinks about them. Tradefox says this level of insight is unique to it.

As well as being able to gain trends and insights from these leading industry professionals, attendees will be able to connect with each of them—and all the event’s other 250 attendees—through Tradefox, the company says.

Tradefox provides recycling industry professionals with what it says is independently verified reputational information about how scrap buyers and sellers trade.

When looking for a reliable way to find new trading partners, Tradefox founder Chris Yerbey, says he realized no platform was tracking companies’ trading reputations, so he created one. Today, Tradefox has more than 140,000 companies on its platform.

Yerbey says events like the company’s Virtual Networking Conference are set to be the “new normal” for international recyclables traders.

“Digital networking is here to stay,” he says. “While the pandemic forced all of us to seek out new ways to meet new business partners virtually, the fact is—even as the world starts to open up to international travel again—networking in this way is a lot more time- and cost-effective.

“It’s arguably even more useful for traders, as they have the opportunity to meet exactly who they want–safe in the knowledge that they too are trusted professionals,” he adds.

Those interested in attending can register for the Virtual Networking Conference at http://conference.tradefox.co. It is free to attend.
