Crown Paper Group has announced Will Lindsay as its next CEO, effective Dec. 19.

Lindsay most recently served as senior director of global papers strategy and product optimization at Atlanta-based packaging producer WestRock and has more than three decades of experience in the paper and packaging industry, including roles in global sales and marketing, supply chain and product performance.

He has previously worked for Longview Fibre Paper & Packaging Inc., KapStone Paper & Packaging Inc. as well as WestRock.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Crown team and looking forward to working with my new colleagues to strengthen the business, positioning us for long-term market leadership,” Lindsay says. “This is a special company with a great history and significant potential for growth.”

Crown Paper Group, which includes Port Townsend Paper Corp. and Crown Corrugated Co., is an integrated mill and containerboard operation with a presence in the Pacific Northwest and western Canada.

Port Townsend Paper Corp. produces recycled and virgin kraft containerboard and kraft specialty products in Port Townsend, Washington. The company’s two converting facilities, Crown Packaging and Boxmaster, have an operational and distribution reach throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
