Birrwil, Switzerland-based ICM AG has scheduled two different tours as part of its E-Mobility & Circular Economy (EMCE) conference, which is July 1-3, 2019, in Tokyo.

One of ICM’s scheduled tours for Monday, July 1, will entail a visit to an auto dismantling plant in the morning and an auto shredder yard in the afternoon. The auto dismantling site is operated by East Japan Recycling of Resources Co. while the shredding plant is run by Phoenix Metal Corp., a business unit of Rever Holdings Corp.

Conference attendees also will have the option of selecting a half-day afternoon visit on July 1 to Hyper Cycle Systems, an electronics and appliance recycling business unit of global conglomerate Mitsubishi Electric.

Sessions at the EMCE conference on the two days following the tour will focus on trends and developments in the vehicle, electronics and battery sectors, including advances in recycling in those sectors.
