CRA Announces Next Executive Director

Earlier this summer upon Diane Davis’s announcement of her upcoming retirement, CRA began the search for our next Executive Director.  Our search has concluded and the CRA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Mary McClellan as the next CRA Executive Director.

Mary has fourteen years of experience in the recycling industry encompassing work in the collegiate, local government, and private sectors. Most recently, Mary worked as a Recycling Program Coordinator for ReCommunity in partnership with the City of Greensboro. Mary has a deep understanding of the intricate challenges facing both our public and private sector members and recognizes the common thread that connects the entire recycling industry.

Along with her recycling industry experience, Mary has been an active CRA member and we were fortunate to have Mary serve as the CRA Conference Program Chair for the 26th Annual Conference in Wilmington earlier this year. Her talents, skills and commitment to recycling and to the CRA itself are well known to many.
